Vulcan Health and Safety provides eLearning courses via the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) which is the Chartered body and largest membership organisation for safety and health professionals. IOSH are a regulated awarding organisation recognised in England by the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual).
Electrical Safety
This course is approved by IIRSM and will start by covering the many benefits electricity brings to society, as well as its key components voltage, current and resistance.
The Electrical Safety eLearning Online course will explain the two main types of electricity, cover UK accident and death statistics, and describe a simple way of remembering the electrical hazards. It then goes on to provide basic instructions about how you could safely help someone you suspect has received an electric shock.
